Confused and need clarification

Hi, I have had my W reg V70 T5 on new shape for 4-5 months now and have been pretty happy with it. I have recently moved to hove and have just come back from th local volvo dealer having just booked it in for a 84k service. After they had located my car on the volvo database and confirmed the service history etc. they then had some problems deciding the cars service schedule. This is where may question lies as while they where located various details about the car they discovered it was imported and that a code suggested that it had the 940 engine in it, on discovering this they seemed surprised but did not really let one why. Has anybody got any clues to the mystery????

I would call another dealer. I rang one to ask them about an engine top mount for my 2.0t. They then told me that my car was in fact a T5. I assured them that it was not but they maintained that it was definately not a 2.0t according to their records and was a T5. Rather confused and worried, I then rang another dealer who found my 2.0t on the database and supplied the part. Who do you think I went to when service time came around?

I haved just moved into Hove area and I am trying to source a good in-dependant volvo specialist, cant seem to find anyone at the moment and need to get the 84k service done so have booked it in at volvo. I have to say this week i have been the giving the T5 a little bit more welly than normal and all i can say is if it does have a 940 Turbo engine then the 940's must be have been mighty quick, as the car can really go if you have the mind too push it a bit.
